End of Season stuff

I have not been updating my website very much – Sorry!!

But for those of you who didn’t know we got 5th in state with some great play last week. That means all that is left is the Banquet. Coach Wells is working on getting us a time and place but we are trying to avoid things like Band/Choir/track meets/fastpitch games/ etc.

We will let you know as soon as we can

AND for those of you who have not turned in JV and Cteam gear yet – the fine is like $250 so you might want to get that in soon!!

STATE BRACKETS

Here is a link to the state brackets:

GO HERE FOR BRACKET AND GAME TIMES

On Feb 20 this is how the Seattle times ranked the teams in the state:

1. Holy Names 20-2
2. Kennedy Catholic (Burien) 18-3
3. Mercer Island 18-4
4. Port Angeles 18-2
5. White River (Buckley) 17-4
6. Shadle Park (Spokane) 14-8
7. Bonney Lake 17-4
8. Prairie (Brush Prairie) 16-5
9. West Valley (Yakima) 14-7
10. Camas 12-9

As you can see, we are not there BUT We beat Port Angeles and they didn’t make it, Camas is no longer Playing and we are. Bonney Lake is ours the next time we play them!!

About the teams in our Quarter bracket ( the teams we will see on Wednesday/Thursday)

Shadle Park: Placed in state last year and won a birth out of the spokane league. They (according to the Spokane paper) will play physical and like to run.

Seattle Prep: Currently 16-9 was 2nd in their division behind Holy names, clinched a spot in state and then lost the next game

Bonney Lake: Beat us by 7. Then lost to Prairie but 9 and beat Mt. Rainier by 4.

I Think from what we can see, these are good match ups for us!! I can’t wait to start playing!!
