Wednesday April 27th – UPDATE

So, there was a change in the league schedule at the beginning of the year – and we didn’t catch it.

SOOOOO – what that means is that we have a meet this Wednesday. It is against Bellarmine and Stadium at the Mt. Tahoma HS. Starts at 3:30. None of the teams is Huge so it should get done earlier than many we have had.

Questions please ask!!

The meet was changed from Lincoln Bowl to Mt. Tahoma.

Wednesday Meet

What a crazy day!!

We get to the meet – Weather is great – then it rains but finishes kinda windy but nicer again at the end!!! Gotta love Washington.

Highlights: There were many and I am sure I will miss someone but here I go. . . .

1. Nicole Hartman – won her very first ever high school race (800m)- and then contributed to winning another (4×400 with Hannah Hartman, Aviva Browning and Noor Al-tamimi)

2. Rachel Crowe had a number of strong PR’s today one in the 200 and one in the Javelin.

3. Charli Greene had another fine day in the 400 and then came back and helped the 4×200 team of Mary Agnes, Madison Guscott,
Camiele Cleveland
set a season best by almost 10 seconds.

Well thats what I know for now – I hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday

MAJOR UPDATES

So we have added a meet this Thursday – it is only for our JV athletes. but our Varsity athletes will be running the events for us. It will be at Ingersol, starting at 3:30

We are also going to be taking our team pictures at that time.

Friday – Mountain Invite

We don’t have enough slots for everyone to go to this meet. The girls should all know if they are competing or not. if they are unsure let me know so we can get everyone on the same page.

This meet is in Yelm – and has some great competition it starts at 4:00 and is at the HS. It is usually a good meet for watching.

Meet #2 @ South Kitsap

What a great day for a number of reasons.

1. I got compliments from the LJ/TJ officials and the starter about how great our kids were today both in competition and in attitude.

2. We competed VERY well today again!!

Highlights.
Aviva Browning and Camiele Cleveland had GREAT days today moving themselves up the record boards in big efforts.
Aviva passed 5 ladies today with a 3200m run of 12:00 putting her at #10 all time in that event.
Camiele not to be outdone moved up 6 spots to #13 all time in the triple jump with a fine mark of 31’5″.

Also putting up big PR’s today was Haley Vick in the Javelin with something like a 6′ PR moving her into the top 20.
and Carry Larsen who in her first ever attempt at the pole vault moved herself into the record book.

I think my favorite race of the day had to be the 4×400 where all 4 girls had a great effort improving our time from last week by over 12 seconds! great job to Charli Greene, Madison Guscott, Kelsey Wilder, and Carry Larson.

Also, our only win of the day came from Kelsey Antles in the 300 hurdles. where she just ran away from the competition down the home stretch!

Great job today ladies!!!!
